From My Heart

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved hearts. So you can imagine that this From the Heart Suite in the new mini catalogue makes me SO happy.
From-the-heart-suiteI used these products for the first time a couple of weeks ago when we had our team meeting. I wanted to bake something in those adorable heart foil tins. You can bake right in them, but then I found silicone heart muffin/cupcake molds at our local Superstore and decided to use them instead. Guess what? They fit perfectly. I was able to decorate them and fit them nicely inside the tins.
Heart-Foil-TinsAfter you decide what goes inside the Heart Foil Tins, you get to decorate the clear dome lids. The coordinating products in the From My Heart Bundle make that super easy and fun to do.
Heart-Foil-Tins-1Aren’t they adorable?
Start thinking about Valentines Day…who can you surprise with these sweet heart foil tins? A co-worker… a friend… your grandchildren…book  club members?

You can order these products by shopping through my online store 24/7 and have your order shipped directly to you.

Simple Stamping

You don’t have to be a creative designer to make a handmade card. Some of the most beautiful cards come from simple stamping.

Last night was my team meeting and the cards we made were beautiful and actually quite simple. We copied 2 ideas straight out of the newest Stampin’Up! publications.

We made the adorable treat packages found on pg. 8 of the Occasions Catalogue:Hey-Love-1The complete list of products used are right on the page so you don’t even have to go looking! They really DO make it easy. If you are looking for a cute packaging idea for Valentines Day, this would certainly fit the bill. And these images in the Hey Love stamp set are not just for kids! They’d be perfect for your fellow book club members or co-workers as well:)

The other idea we copied was from the Sale-a-bration brochure on p. 8:Butterfly-Gala-1The background is just strips of cardstock cut at 1/2″ x 4-1/4″ and adhered flat with SNAIL adhesive. Simple, right? I used a tiny, tiny amount of Tombo Multipurpose Glue to adhere the wooden butterfly element.

And it’s always nice to make the inside of the card look pretty too…
Butterfly-Gala-2Once again, all the supplies are listed right there. But this time, this project uses an item that you can get for free. When you buy the products to make the projects shown there, you’ll qualify for the free Sale-a-bration item used: Butterfly Elements.
Butterfly-ElementsThe greatest thing about the Butterfly Gala Bundle is that it includes an amazing punch that punches out both sizes of butterflies at once! And the details on these butterfly images are gorgeous. I’m not even a butterfly person and I love this bundle. Butterfly-Gala-Bundle-ImageThere are so many other options available if you like to keep things simple. Our kits for example are perfect if you like things all cut and ready for you. It’s Beginning to Look A lot like Christmas

It’s December 12th and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here. Christmas cards are made, we’ve had our annual team Christmas party (aka our chocolate fondue night!),  and some presents are wrapped and under the tree. I even decorated a little bulletin board in my office.
Bulletin Board Here are the little gifts I gave out at our team party. I packaged up mini fresh balsam candles.
Team-Gifts-2017-1I used the 3″ x 6″ Gusseted Cellophane Bags, and just cut a piece of DSP to fit the inside.
Team-Gifts-2017-2I scored it at 2″ so it would lay flat in the bottom.
Team-Gifts-2017-3The boxwood wreaths are a perfect final touch to each of your pretty packaging! They are also very perfect for home decor pieces like this one.
Home-FrameHere’s another beautiful home decor piece (created by Sherry Roth) for our Christmas gift exchange. Do you have any left over pieces of Christmas DSP? This might be a great way to use some smaller pieces.Tree Frame I hope you are enjoying crafting this holiday season.

When you are ready to replenish some supplies, be sure to shop through my online store HERE and use Hostess Code WP3KHD27 to receive a free thank you gift from me. (NOTE: if you click NO CONTACT, I will not be able to see who placed the order…and then sadly you will not receive the free gift.)

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
