Winter Woods

Sadly, it is snowing in Edmonton this morning. I am not ready for Winter…the colder temperatures …and definitely not ready for snow! I always feel so cheated on our fall season. I am hopeful that we will still get one more stretch of warmer weather before September is over.

How appropriate that I was going to post this card for you this morning.

Dry Emboss It!

Have you ever tried to dry emboss your Designer Series Paper? It adds another layer of texture to your projects.

Here is one done on the Peekaboo Peach patterned paper in the Painted Autumn DSP pack:
Painted-Harvest-6We used the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder…but instead of putting the raised side up, we used the indented side (de-bossing). 

The next pairing is the Christmas Around the World DSP and the stunning Winter Wonder Embossing Folder:
