More Cookie Cutters

This morning I have a few more projects using the Cookie Cutter Christmas bundle. These were brought for display at our team meeting a couple of weeks back.

These first 2 were made by Sue-Ella Hardy. cookie-cutter8A cute little box…
cookie-cutter-9But look what’s inside!
cookie-cutter-10These adorable Santa earrings were made with Shrinky Dink, a StazOn ink pad, and markers. The instructions on the package say to heat in the oven, but did you know that an Embossing Heat Tool works as well? It makes you want to run out and buy some Shrinky Dink right now, right?!  Can you image gingerbread men earrings? These would make such cute stocking stuffers!

And then Alana Jean-Louis made these treat bags…
cookie-cutter-7I can think of a few nieces and nephews who would LOVE these. Can you spot Rudolph’s red nose in that bag? Clever idea.

If you are looking for some other inexpensive stocking stuffer and gift ideas, I still have a few spots left in my Creative Christmas Class this Friday, October 21st. Email me to save your spot at winona@thestampinroom.com.

Don’t forget about the Designer Paper Sale that’s going on now. You can stock up on the super cute Candy Cane Lane paper to start your Christmas crafting!

Winter Wishes

Stampin’ Up! has a stamp set called Winter Wishes that would be classified as a more vintage set.  I’ve fallen in love with it. The images of a sled, skates and snowshoes take me back to the “good ol’ days”.
Winter WishesWinter Wishes (clear-mount) #139745   $22.00
Winter Wishes (wood-mount) #139742  $31.00

This is one of the cards that the ladies are making this weekend at The Stampin’ Room’s annual Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack.
Winter-Wishes-1This is my take on a similar one my friend and super talented Diana Gibbs made in Crumb Cake. She is the queen of coloring, and I would have loved to have had a red sled but when we are cranking out 5 of these in a half an hour, time doesn’t allow for coloring.

It’s been a very busy couple of days…
Winter-Wishes-2I will post pictures of the other 3 card designs in the next few days. We had the first session last night. Another one tonight…and then one more tomorrow afternoon. And then I will sleep very well:)

Be sure to check out this week’s deals…

‘Tis the Season

Last night marked the beginning of the Christmas season in our home. ‘Tis the Season. Our team Christmas party (AKA Chocolate Fondue Night) is ALWAYS a highlight. I had so much fun putting lights all around my office to make it a cozy Christmas atmosphere to be shared by friends and team mates. We had a wonderful evening.
Fondue-NightI made these adorable tree placecards for everyone (cased from Erica Cerwain and Alanna Wharf):Tree-PlacecardFondue-Night-2Everyone brings their favorite thing to dip in chocolate. We had quite the selection:
Fondue-Night-3Fondue-Night-4We shared in a handmade gift exchange as well. The girls outdid themselves! I was so impressed by the creativity and time they put into their gifts. There was one in particular that we HAD to take a look at (even though the recipient was unable to attend). Then we carefully placed it back in the packaging…LOL! Very sneaky!
Fondue-Night-5We also played BINGO for SU! prizes. Everyone was a winner at least once!
Bingo-PrizesThen there was one last bonus game for a Christmas stamp set. Nikki was the excited winner of Winter Wishes!!

And so it starts. This weekend the house will be full of ladies coming over to make their Christmas Cards. I call it a Stamp-a-Stack because they stamp a stack of cards! 20 to be exact. There are 4 different designs of cards and they make 5 identical ones at each station.

So I’m off to start cutting cardstock…

Have a great day everyone! And Hello December.
