Stamp Cafe

I was busy all last week getting ready for a customer event called Stamp Cafe. This is typically an event  I run with a few other leaders in my team and my family helps a ton!

Saturday was a little more challenging however, because our middle daughter was running a case competition at the U of A and my husband has been flat on his back now for 3 weeks with back/nerve pain. So our son Aaron was loaded with a lot of extra responsibilities. He really stepped up to the plate and did an awesome job setting up, running video/sound, doing the lunch run, and tearing down! I also enlisted the help of his girlfriend Kayla to run registration and prize patrol… and my mom helped with clean up. I seriously couldn’t have done the day without them!

Here are a few pics of the set up… I found this door post and sign at a Vintage Market here in Edmonton a couple of weekends ago. I LOVE it!!Stamp-Cafe-3Registration table…Stamp-Cafe-4Stamp Cafe was die-cut from fabric pieces and glued onto vanilla cardstock circles and then adhered to our kraft bags.Stamp-Cafe-5

Catalogue Inspiration

Have you had a little catalogue inspiration lately? When was the last time you sat down and actually looked at all the different samples made with the products we sell? I love how they display coordinating products at the beginning of each showcased suite.

Today’s inspiration comes from the Botanical Gardens suite on pg. 26 of the Occasions Catalogue. My clubs are doing projects from this suite this month, so I wanted to make a few extra ideas to show them. The small terra cotta pot with pansy flowers is adorable! Pair it with the small 3 x 3 card, and you have a perfect hostess thank you or a sweet gift for a friend or co-worker. Don’t you think this would brighten up someone’s day?Botanical-Blooms-1The colors used were Cajun Craze, Hello Honey, and Mint Macaron…all coordinating colors found in the Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper (DSP). I also used one of the Botanical Gardens Jewels on the card and decorated the rim of the pot with the Botanical Gardens Designer Washi Tape.

You can bundle and save 15% by purchasing the Botanical Blooms Stamp Set + Botanical Builder Framelit Dies + Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper. Get all 3 for $64.25! This is the first time they’ve added the DSP to the bundle. Great deal!
