Sheltering Tree – Hello Life

I hope you’re not tired of seeing samples from the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set yet. Can you tell it’s one of my favorites? :) For my Hawaii swaps, I paired two sets…Sheltering Tree – Hello Life. I just love the bike stamp.

Sheltering-Tree-10

All the design pieces were cut using the Chalk Talk Framelits. Take note of the flower pot. It’s the piece that pops out of the tag. I just raised it up with a dimensional and put it back in the same spot. Cool, hey? The flowers are from the Sheltering Tree set. I love the clean look of this card.

Hello-Life

So with the help of my mother, they were completed on Tuesday. Earliest ever I think. I even made one for each of the AB Girls (Advisory Board). Everyone who chose to participate in the swap in Hawaii, was asked to make 26. One is for Stampin’ Up! and then 25 are to swap. We hand them in,  the staff divide them up, and then we get a bag of 25 in return. Pretty sweet deal. It’s like Christmas when we get our bag of swaps!!

And with that…we are ready to take off. We are on the same flights as one of my downline and her family. SO ready for a vacation!

We have a super tight connection in Vancouver, but here’s hoping we have a smooth travel day. And there better not be any snow on the ground when I get back! I’m just sayin’…

Aloha Everyone!

Mustache Framelits Die

The week was full of  final preparations to leave on vacation. Feeling excited! We celebrated with our son as he entered adulthood yesterday…the big 18!!! Cannot believe our “little boy” has a mustache and a beard. But I must admit it has given me a good excuse to have a little fun with the mustache framelits die. (It’s on the retiring list! Get it before it’s gone!)

Upon request…dessert was tiramisu mousse…Notice the candle? It was a little tricky adding candles to a mousse dessert:)

Thanks Kim Williams for the fabulous mustache inspirations! Super fun!

He was a good sport being patient as mom took pictures. Whenever I want him to do something he doesn’t want to do, I say, “Just humor me! ” It works well until he tries it on me. LOL!

Mustache-Fun
It’s official. We now have 3 adult children. Yikes!

Suitcases are packed. Tomorrow I’ll share my card swap for Hawaii. Everyone is to make 26. Can’t wait to see the ones I get in return!

Hawaii 2015 Incentive Trip

We are counting the days until our Hawaii 2015 incentive trip with Stampin’ Up! Our travel documents arrived a few weeks ago and we have had a countdown on the chalkboard in our kitchen ever since. Actually we’ve had 2 countdowns going…our son turns 18 just 2 days before we leave. So we have lots to look forward to!

Hawaii 2015 stampin up incentive trip

Don’t you just love the bag it all came it? We get spoiled when we are there as well…pillow gifts and prizes…so I’m thinking there might be a matching beach bag coming our way. Here’s hoping!

The colorful luggage tags are so bright and beautiful. I can’t wait to put them on our bags.

Hawaii 2015 stampin up incentive trip

I just told my husband the other day that I can smell the tropical air and taste the pineapple already! I simply cannot wait to feel the warm sun on my body:) I have Coffee Talk this evening (which is my monthly downline gathering), and then it’s off to pack!!

Every year, Stampin’ Up! demonstrators have the opportunity to work towards an incentive trip – all expenses paid for 2 people. When I first signed up as a demonstrator 12-1/2 years ago, I never dreamed I would be able to achieve such an awesome reward. The first year, I didn’t even look at the chart because I said, “Real people don’t earn free trips.” But guess what? I earned the cruise to Alaska that very first year! And once you achieve it, you want to do it over and over again! That is my one goal every year…to earn the trip. Hawaii 2015 will be the 12th one we have gone on!!! Isn’t that crazy?

So I want to thank all my friends and customers first and foremost…because YOU have made it possible. I don’t buy all those stamps and accessories myself!! … I buy A LOT…but not enough to earn a free trip. LOL! Thank You…Thank You…Thank You!!

I am very happy today…and you should be too, because look at the Deals of the Week.
