Founders’ Circle Highlights Day 1

Today I’m finally getting around to sharing a recap of Founders Circle Highlights Day 1.
Stampin’ Up! knows how to surprise and delight that is for sure. Our theme was the Last Splash. Very fitting for the last Founders’ Circle of this kind.
Founders-Signs-1The welcome dinner was a poolside…
Founders-Party-PoolsideThe tables were decorated beautifully…and in the middle of each table was a stunning chocolate cake!

Cute Snowmen

Here are the cute snowmen cards I mentioned yesterday. They are all swaps I received at Founders last week.

This first one was made by Wendy Cranford. It features the new Softly Falling Textured Embossing Folder (#139672),  Seasonal Frame Thinlits Dies (#139658), and Washi Label Punch (#138296).
Snow-Place-1This next one doesn’t have a name attached to it…The background is the same Softly Falling Textured Embossing Folder. The tag is easily made using the Ornate Tag Topper Punch (#137416) **on sale this week in the Weekly Deals!**. Also featured on this card is the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies (#139659), the Snow Friends Framelits Dies (#139664),  the Home for Christmas Enamel Dots (#140536),  Silver Cording Trim (#139620), and the Metallic Foil Doilies (#138392).
Snow-Place-2Last but not least, is this traditional snowman card made by Eldonna Epp. Check out the clouds made with the Tree Builder Punch (#138295). That punch is SO versatile! She made the snow by simply tearing two pieces of Whisper White Cardstock, sponging the edges, and using a glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to make the snow glisten. How adorable is that?

Canadian Scrapbooker Carnival 2015

I have been a little busy…time to get back into routine. Last weekend we had the privilege of being one of the crafting vendors at the Canadian Scrapbooker Carnival 2015 in Edmonton, AB. If you’ve ever participated in an event like this, you know it is A LOT of work! But at the same time, SO MUCH FUN!  Connecting with other crafters is always a highlight. Here’s a look at our booth…Canadian-Scrapbooker-Booth-2Canadian-Scrapbooker-Booth-1Canadian- Scrapbooker-3We focused on all the bundles and kits Stampin’ Up! has to offer. First off, when you purchase a designated bundle you save 15%. There are 17 bundles in the new Holiday Catalogue alone!! Check them out. And the kits make life so much simpler. You don’t have to do any cutting or prepping…just assemble!

If you want a real WOW factor for your Christmas Cards this year, you should try the To You and Yours Shaker Cards Project Kit. We sampled these at one of the Make ‘n Take Stations this weekend, and the ladies LOVED them! We sold out that hour.
