Convention Highlights

Well the three days of Inspire.Create.Share 2015 was over in a blink of an eye. I will be sharing convention highlights in the coming days. We had an awesome time with friends…there were really great classes…and we had a sneak peek of the Holiday Catalogue coming out in September!

We had 8 from our team go down. [From left to right: Lorna Raczynski, Nicole Keef, Robyn Drummond, Sherry Roth, Heather Kariel, Danny Gruner, Donna Powell, and myself.]
SLC-2015-8The highlight of the first day was the Awards Night. I was so excited to hear that I am once again one of the top 20 demonstrators in Canada! What an honor!! Thank you to all my team members and customers for their faithful support and commitment to building a strong team.
SLC-2015-3SLC-2015-7Along with this evening came a little bit of sadness as our term on the Advisory Board came to a close. It has been an incredible year of growth for me personally and I’ve formed a special relationship with these ladies. Thank goodness we only have to wait until September to see each other again!

We were congratulated with a dozen roses when we were appointed to the Board last July, and Thursday evening we were thanked with a dozen roses as our term came to a close.

We left SLC and drove to Wenatchee, Washington to stay with our close friends for a week. On Sunday we drove through 4 states! … Utah, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Thank goodness Edgar likes to drive:) … and I like to sleep! On the times I did have my eyes open though, I saw such beautiful scenery. Like this lookout in Washington!SLC-2015-9I am still trying to process all I learned and the goals I have set for this next year…while still being on vacation. This morning I gathered a few of my goodies received by friends while I was there. I have the sweetest friends!! Convention_GoodiesToday is Tuesday, so that means new Weekly Deals! If you are wanting any of these embellishments, you can either order online HERE or email me and I’ll include it in my next order.

One More Sleep

I’m a little distracted this week thinking about our other daughter returning home after spending 6 months in Melbourne, Australia. We have literally counted down the days til our daughters return since mid May. One came home the end of June and the other one is coming home tomorrow!! It has been a growing experience for us all…to be sure…but I cannot wait til I see her walk through those airport doors tomorrow.

She won’t have much time to adjust to her own bed, because Sunday we leave again for the states…going to Stampin’ Up!’s Inspire.Create.Share 2015 in Salt Lake City. Super excited to go…and super excited to come back and share the experience with all of you:)

I received July’s Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail today. Look!!
Thanks_a_latteIt’s called Thanks a Latte!! I LOVE it! I was mourning the fact that there wasn’t a new coffee set in this catalogue…they must have heard me crying:) I’m taking this with me on the road. These will be super fun to put together on vacation. I think I might have to make all coffee ones and forgo the get well ones…we’ll see. If you haven’t subscribed yet, you’re missing out!

I am a little behind posting the new Weekly Deals…but here they are.
Weekly Deals July 14-20The paper stacks are 6 x 6 this year…the Everyday Chic Designer Washi Tape can literally be used “everyday”! It’s neutral enough to use on all your projects. And the thick baker’s twine is wonderful. You really should take advantage of the embellishments on sale this week:)

I’ll leave you with a cute card I received in the mail the other day from my friend Shannon West. She takes Project Life Cards and Whisper White Notecards with her when she travels, and makes a ton of thank you cards. I am honored to have received one of her cute creations:)
