I cannot believe a week has gone by since I promised to show you the other 3 cards they made at the Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack. That’s what happens when you get sick I guess. I think that the older I get, the more my body reacts to a busy schedule. Hmmm…LIFE is full of busy, isn’t it?
Anyhow…here are the other 3 Christmas cards the ladies made.
This first one says it all, doesn’t it? I’ve actually been listening to a song from one of my favorite music groups (Mercy Me) called “Christmastime Again.”
The first verse goes like this:
“Has anyone ever noticed
See the older you get
Time just keeps rolling
Moving so fast it makes your whole head spin, yeah
Well I need some explaining
Where did this year go
Just put away the decorations
And here we go again we’re singing Nat King Cole
I can’t believe it’s Christmastime again.”
This second one was actually a made by Shelli and Sara (received at Founders Circle in September). I fell in love with it. Love the tag on the front…love the Softly Falling Embossing Folder on the background…and love the word peace. We all need more peace in our lives. Finally, they made this one…equally as beautiful.
The trees in the Wonderland set, create the beautiful backdrop for this nativity scene. The starburst is from a set in the main catalogue called Kinda Eclectic. The tag on the front is the same shape as the previous card…made with the Ornate Tag Punch. And you can never have too much of this gold cording!!
So now I need to get back to doing my Christmas cards. I’ve decided to use the ones I have received from previous swaps, so they will all be different. My daughter said they were too beautiful to use! I said they are too beautiful to be sitting in boxes! So we will share the love this Christmas.
I hope your Christmas preparations are coming along nicely and that you are scheduling in some “down time”…rest and relaxation…and spending time with the people that matter most.
