Snow Way!

Penguins-2This adorable snowman says: SNOW WAY! It’s Christmas already? No…it’s not Christmas yet, but it sure is cooler this week than what I experienced last week in St. George, Utah. The temperatures were in the low 30’s so I was able to sit by the pool one last time.  It felt so good.

I thought you might like to see a few of the swaps I received. The first one did not have a name on the back, so I can’t give them credit…but he sure is cute!

This penguin card was made by Peggy Murwin…
Penguins-1They are both are designed using the Snow Place bundle found on page 33 of the Holiday Catalogue.

Maybe some of these designs will get you starting to think about your own Christmas cards this year. If you need a little help, I have a Simply Beautiful Christmas Card Class this Friday where you can make these 4 snowflake cards. The supplies for these cards are FREE with an order of $25 or more.
SnowflakesIf you are interested and would like to attend, please call or email me at winona@thestampinroom.com. There are only a couple of spots left!

Tomorrow I’ll have some snowmen cards to show you!

Founder’s Circle 2015 Swap

Swapping in our pajamas…it’s what we do! The Founder’s Circle 2015 Swap was for 110 this year. Can you imagine making 110 of the same card? What may start off as a simple design, can quickly become labor intensive when you are making that many.

We swap in our pajamas…and this year most of us wore the same t-shirt with this year’s theme on it. 110 ladies line up in the hallway and start swapping down the line. It’s quite the sight:)
Swap-Line
This was my card. I used the set Snow Place from the new Holiday Catalogue.
Swap-CardThis idea was cased by my friend and downline member Lorna Raczynski. Isn’t he just stinkin’ cute?! He comes in a bundle which includes 2 snowmen:) Check it out on page 33 of the Holiday Catalogue.

Canadian Scrapbooker Carnival 2015

I have been a little busy…time to get back into routine. Last weekend we had the privilege of being one of the crafting vendors at the Canadian Scrapbooker Carnival 2015 in Edmonton, AB. If you’ve ever participated in an event like this, you know it is A LOT of work! But at the same time, SO MUCH FUN!  Connecting with other crafters is always a highlight. Here’s a look at our booth…Canadian-Scrapbooker-Booth-2Canadian-Scrapbooker-Booth-1Canadian- Scrapbooker-3We focused on all the bundles and kits Stampin’ Up! has to offer. First off, when you purchase a designated bundle you save 15%. There are 17 bundles in the new Holiday Catalogue alone!! Check them out. And the kits make life so much simpler. You don’t have to do any cutting or prepping…just assemble!

If you want a real WOW factor for your Christmas Cards this year, you should try the To You and Yours Shaker Cards Project Kit. We sampled these at one of the Make ‘n Take Stations this weekend, and the ladies LOVED them! We sold out that hour.
