Our daughter Samantha is partial to it as well because of this sentiment: “The love between us knows no distance.” She said goodbye to her fiance a few weeks ago…for the very last time. This is the last leg of their long distance relationship and she can’t be more thankful.

This first card was made by my friend Karina Chin. The Hello Honey circle on this black and gray card just pops. I also really love the metallic star sequins! (#138390)This second one was made by my friend Lorna Raczynski. The World Traveler Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#138289) on both these cards makes a beautiful background. Pair it with the 6 x 6 Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack (#140581), and you can make a years worth of masculine or travel-inspired cards.Here’s one I made at a Stampin’ Up! event in November. Instead of using the folder to emboss, I brayered ink on the inside of my folder, closed it up and rubbed my hand across the whole thing and used it as a stamp. Try it using a folder you already have. It’s pretty cool! When you’re done, just run your folder under water and the ink washes right off.
