Sheltering Tree – Hello Life

I hope you’re not tired of seeing samples from the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set yet. Can you tell it’s one of my favorites? :) For my Hawaii swaps, I paired two sets…Sheltering Tree – Hello Life. I just love the bike stamp.

All the design pieces were cut using the Chalk Talk Framelits. Take note of the flower pot. It’s the piece that pops out of the tag. I just raised it up with a dimensional and put it back in the same spot. Cool, hey? The flowers are from the Sheltering Tree set. I love the clean look of this card.

Hello-Life

So with the help of my mother, they were completed on Tuesday. Earliest ever I think. I even made one for each of the AB Girls (Advisory Board). Everyone who chose to participate in the swap in Hawaii, was asked to make 26. One is for Stampin’ Up! and then 25 are to swap. We hand them in,  the staff divide them up, and then we get a bag of 25 in return. Pretty sweet deal. It’s like Christmas when we get our bag of swaps!!

And with that…we are ready to take off. We are on the same flights as one of my downline and her family. SO ready for a vacation!

We have a super tight connection in Vancouver, but here’s hoping we have a smooth travel day. And there better not be any snow on the ground when I get back! I’m just sayin’…

Aloha Everyone!

Love This Life

So I’m having a blah kind of day. Had some goal disappointments…the lock on my washing machine door is acting up so I can’t wash the load I wanted to today…and it’s SNOWING again! Ever just have one of those days?

But in the big scheme of things, we must remember that these frustrations are so minor. We are blessed beyond measure, so I need to shift my focus to what I am thankful for…and that would most certainly lead me to my family.

I finally finished my Hello Life Project Kit last night. The kit includes die-cut frames, banners, and accents on chalkboard, printed, and silver foil papers; window sheet; shaker frame circle; standard and thick baker’s twine; white thread; wire frame, mini clothespins; sewing needle. And the colors are black and crushed curry. I really wanted to put this in our dining room, so I switched out the crushed curry and used pool party instead. The pom-poms were made with the Painted Blooms Cotton Twine. After making this up, I even had a ton of left over pieces that will be awesome to use on cards or scrapbook pages.

These are my people…and I DO love this life! Wouldn’t trade it for anything. We are so proud of each one of them and can’t wait until we’re all together again.

You can order this frame HERE. (#137949 Hello Project Life Kit  $30.95) What a great home decor piece…the kit itself even makes a great gift.

I hope you have an awesome day…wherever you are!
