October Club Projects

I thought you might like to see my October Club Projects. It’s never too early to make Christmas cards…thankfully the ladies in my stamp clubs agree. This month we focused on the Merriest Wishes Stamp Set and Merry Tags Framelits Dies from the Holiday Catalogue. Bundle them together and you save 10%.

Card #1
The star of this card is the shaker element. We used the foam adhesive strips, window sheets, and metallic sequins to create this beautiful ornament that is sure to delight young and old.
merriest-wishes-1Card #2
This tree cut-out shape is hung through a die-cut circle on the front panel. I think this was their favorite. Do you see the mini copper pinecone? Adorable.
merriest-wishes-2Card #3
We used aqua painters and a night of navy ink pad with refill to create this watercolor wash background. The woodland scene ornament was die-cut 5 times! … twice in crumb cake and once each in vellum, garden green, and early espresso. So worth it though.
merriest-wishes-3We also featured this die-cut in my Creative Christmas Class on the weekend.
merriest-wishes-5Hershey Nuggets are my go-to chocolate pieces for little treats over the holidays. It’s super easy to decorate them with strips of 1″ x 3″ Designer Series Paper. I used the Garden Green plaid pieces from the 6″ x 6″ Warmth & Cheer paper stack (#141991) on these. Place the chocolates in our 2″ x 8″ Cellophane Bags (#14173) and tie the bag closed with Kraft Rope Trim (#141996).  All these supplies are from Stampin’ Up! and can be ordered HERE.

Card #4
This last one is super simple and NOT a Christmas card. A number of greetings fit in that middle circle…so some of them it into a birthday card. This utilizes the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper. That whole pack is designed using Night of Navy and Whisper White…love.
