Thanks for Being You

The second one I designed from that set was this heart gate-fold card.

The card base is Soft Suede cut at 5-1/2″ x 12…and scored at 1-3/4″, 3-7/8″, 8-1/8″, 10-1/4″. I stamped the Hardwood background stamp on the front 2 panels with Soft Suede ink. The half hearts on either end were done by placing the heart framelit on the Soft Suede cardstock, putting it into the Big Shot machine, but only going half way…then backing out. Does that make sense? (or else you’d cut the whole heart out of your card!)

Then just cut a full heart out of Best Year Ever DSP, cut it in half, and adhere on top of Soft Suede. Close up the card, wrap Soft Sky Cotton Twine around and attach two tags stamped with images from that set. I punched the one end with the Ticket Duo Builder Punch.

I challenge you to try this fold…it’s a wow for sure!
