Christmas Quilt

One of the bundles we highlighted at the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival a few weeks ago was the Christmas Quilt Bundle.
Quilted-Christmas-4All the products found in this Quilted Christmas Suite give your creations a homey, handmade feel. (You can find it all on pages 4-5 in the Holiday Catalogue. )

We made a few gift items to sell at the show. These paper quilted embroidery hoops turned out super cute. This first one is taken directly from the catalogue…
Quilted-Christmas-2And then if any of you know me at all, I had to do a coffee themed one as well:) …
Quilted-Christmas-3It was just like doing a puzzle. I ran a few different pieces of the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper through the Big Shot using the coordinating framelit dies. And then just started gluing them in place. The theme possibilities are endless! Who do you have to buy for this Christmas? Hmmm…

A little tip for doing these hoops…I just bought some inexpensive fabric and put it in a 4-inch embroidery hoop…cutting off the excess fabric and using a hot glue gun to secure it to the inside of the back of the hoop. (Just makes the back look more finished.) Does that make sense? I then used Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the pieces of paper to the front.

When you are ready to place an online order for the products in the Quilted Christmas Suite, you may do so HERE at my store. Please use the September Hostess Code 7R9HYUAG at checkout.
