Founder’s Circle Photo

The official Founder’s Circle 2015 photo from Convention. This was the top 100 demonstrators in the United States and the top 20 demonstrators in Canada. I am so blessed to be part of this group. We will all gather in St. George, Utah in September for a final retreat. I can’t wait…Now to make 110 swaps for the retreat.Founders Circle 2015At the end of this month, I will celebrate 13 years of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. It continues to be an incredible journey. The friendships I have made with women from all over the world, and the vacations we have gone on (earned by Stampin’ Up!) are invaluable to me and my family. I have the best job!  I love what I do AND I can do it from home:)

Main Stage

I always look forward to walking through the doors of convention and seeing the Main Stage for the first time. What is the main stage going to look like? What music will they be playing? Who will I see in there?

This is what I saw this year! Beautiful backdrop to a newsroom…the Daily Share.
Main_StageDemonstrators in attendance were treated to the unveiling of the new Holiday Catalogue! Super fun! Trust me…you are going to absolutely love it. You will be able to order out of it beginning September 1st.

Our bag this year is a trendy gray felted shoulder bag. I LOVE it! I was not a fan of carrying it in 40 degree weather mind you, but I know I will love it here in the fall.
Convention_BagThere are always prize patrols…where they flash wristband colors up on the screen…and if yours matches that color, you excitedly stand up and wait for them to bring you your prize package. Three of us girls from Advisory Board all won the same color:) Prize_PatrolWe learned a lot…laughed a lot…even cried a little. It’s always a rewarding week. The leaders had a TED talk delivered by Jenna Glover on the last afternoon which was amazing. It was entitled: “Do you live an energy efficient life?” I was reminded that I need to keep “filling my tank”…in other words, taking care of my health.

Now we’re off to a Bridal Shower Event this evening. Samantha and I made a few of these this morning…featuring the the happy heart embossing folder , paper doilies, white jute ribbon and the sweetheart punch. (I saw this swap at Convention…sorry, I can’t remember whose it was.) But I love it!

Convention Highlights

Well the three days of Inspire.Create.Share 2015 was over in a blink of an eye. I will be sharing convention highlights in the coming days. We had an awesome time with friends…there were really great classes…and we had a sneak peek of the Holiday Catalogue coming out in September!

SLC-2015-8The highlight of the first day was the Awards Night. I was so excited to hear that I am once again one of the top 20 demonstrators in Canada! What an honor!! Thank you to all my team members and customers for their faithful support and commitment to building a strong team.
SLC-2015-3SLC-2015-7Along with this evening came a little bit of sadness as our term on the Advisory Board came to a close. It has been an incredible year of growth for me personally and I’ve formed a special relationship with these ladies. Thank goodness we only have to wait until September to see each other again!

We were congratulated with a dozen roses when we were appointed to the Board last July, and Thursday evening we were thanked with a dozen roses as our term came to a close.

 We left SLC and drove to Wenatchee, Washington to stay with our close friends for a week. On Sunday we drove through 4 states! … Utah, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Thank goodness Edgar likes to drive:) … and I like to sleep! On the times I did have my eyes open though, I saw such beautiful scenery. Like this lookout in Washington!SLC-2015-9I am still trying to process all I learned and the goals I have set for this next year…while still being on vacation.
